university tales

Hello all! I am happy to report that my first few weeks at university are going well. When I first received my class schedule (physics, calculus, AND computer science) I was rather worried, but the coursework has been fine enough and I have ample time to complete all of my assignments. The dining hall is rather good, the campus is pretty, and most of the people I've met seem very friendly. :)
I'm anxious to get out and explore the city, but I haven't really gotten the chance to yet. I don't own a car and I never used public transport back home, so I'm nervous to get on it now. Hopefully I will soon work up the courage. (Or make friends that can drive.)
In terms of extracurricular activities, I'm certainly not want for options. I've only joined one club as of now- the philosophy club! It's highly enjoyable and I even managed to rope my friend into coming with me. I also made a new friend there. The club has only met once, but the topics up for discussion are very interesting, and I'm glad to be learning more about philosophy even though I'm not majoring in it. I've never hung out with other people who love philosophy before, so I feel right at home there.
Not much else to say currently. Overall, I love uni! Definitely preferable to my boring hometown. I miss my younger sibling, but I can't imagine going back home now.
For the music recommendation- this entry it's going to be Tragedia Nosferata by gothic rock band Paralyzed Age. It's very fun; it has classic spooky vibes, but it leans a little more rock than darkwave or synth. I really enjoyed it! You can find it here.
As always, if you like my blog or my music choice, let me know on my guestbook. I greatly enjoy getting messages there.
PS: A new Family Business chapter is in the works! No promises about when it will be published, but know it is being made.
